A motorcyclist was flown to the hospital after suffering moderate injuries in a crash Wednesday afternoon, a fire official said.
Authorities responded to reports of a motorcycle crash around 5:18 p.m. in the 2400 block of Imperial Court, said East Contra Costa Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Brian Helmick.
A man was flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for further medical evaluation, Helmick said. The California Highway Patrol will be investigating the cause of the crash.
