Austin, TX : Man seriously injured after motorcycle crash in North Lamar on Friday, 9th September 2016

A man in his 50s was seriously injured Friday afternoon after a motorcycle and a car crashed on North Lamar Boulevard, Austin-Travis County EMS officials said.

The vehicles crashed about 4:35 p.m. at the 2600 block of North Lamar Blvd., EMS said. The man was reported unconscious and was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

The man was the only person injured, officials said. It is unknown whether he was traveling in the car or the motorcycle.
