WOOD RIVER, IL : 35-year-old single mother of five dies in car crash on Old St. Louis Road at Citrus Lane on Sunday, 22nd December, 2019

A 35-year-old single mother of five children died late Sunday when she was ejected from her vehicle on Old St. Louis Road at Citrus Lane in Wood River.
Amanda J. Kieffer, 35, was identified Monday as the victim, according to a release from Wood River Police Chief Brad Wells.
At 9:14 p.m. Sunday, the Wood River Police Department responded to a single-vehicle traffic accident on Old St. Louis Road at Citrus Lane, Wells said. Kieffer was the only occupant of the vehicle.
The vehicle was traveling south on Old St. Louis Road and Kieffer lost control of the vehicle at Citrus Lane, according to Wells. The vehicle traveled off the roadway and flipped.
