WESTERN KY ; 3 killed, others injured in mutli-vehicle crash on I-24 in Livingston Co. on Monday, 29th July 2024

The Kentucky State Police report three people died in a multi-vehicle crash in Livingston County on Monday.

According to KSP, a semi-truck driven by 24-year-old Mansur Kholikov of Brooklyn, New York, was traveling westbound on I-24 when traffic began to slow down near the 32-mile marker. However, for reasons still under investigation, KSP said Kholikov‘s vehicle did not slow down.

The semi reportedly collided with multiple other vehicles, causing secondary collisions involving five other vehicles.

When first responders arrived, one of the vehicles was completely engulfed in flames. The driver, 68-year-old Saundra Dodd of Evansville, Indiana, along with two children who were inside the vehicle died at the scene.
