A Pennsylvania man was killed and another was injured in a Sunday morning motorcycle collision, according to the Cecil County Sheriff's Office.
Around midnight, two motorcycles traveling northbound together on Hilltop Road in the area of Rolling Green Lane collided for unknown reasons, ejecting their drivers, said CCSO spokesman Lt. Michael Holmes. Police received the call to respond at 12:01 a.m.
Patrick Lee Sarver, a 23-year-old from Lancaster, Pa., was pronounced dead on the scene.
The other person involved in the crash — Cameron Michael Kauffman, a 37-year-old from Pequea, Pa. — was taken to Christiana Hospital in critical condition. As of Sunday evening, there was no further update on his condition.
"It's still being investigated," Holmes said. "No charges have been filed."
Sarver and Kauffman were both driving Harley Davidson motorcycles, Holmes said. Sarver's was a 2009 model; Kauffman's a 2004.
Senior Dfc. Gregory Passwaters and Cpl. James Keller are investigating the incident.
