Pittsburg,KS : Two injured in traffic accidents on roads in area on October, Tuesday 31th 2017

A Pittsburg, Kansas, woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision at 8:08 a.m. Tuesday on Missouri Highway 171 at Tabor Main Road in Jasper County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Karen M. Simone, 40, was taken to Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg with minor injuries.

She was driving a southbound vehicle that was struck in the rear by a car driven by Mary A. Israel, 63, of Carl Junction, the patrol said.

• A Neosho woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 12:02 a.m. Tuesday on Mulberry Road, a mile west of Neosho in Newton County, according to the state patrol.

Breanna N. Marcoux, 20, sought treatment on her own for minor injuries.

She was driving an eastbound car that ran off the road when she struck a cat, the patrol said.
