Caruthersville, MO : Two injured after crash in Pemiscot County on Saturday, October 8, 2016

Two Marion residents were injured in a car crash on Saturday in Pemiscot County.

The crash happened around 1:15 p.m.

According to the crash report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 31-year-old Leann King was driving south on Route D when she ran off the road, hit a ditch, flipped.

King was taken to the Regional One Health in Memphis with serious injuries.

The 3-year-old passenger, Nolan Mays, was taken to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.

The crash report states both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
