Two pedestrians were seriously injured and one man was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants after a three-vehicle accident Sunday evening near the Las Vegas Strip, according to Metro police.

The crash happened about 9:20 p.m. on Harmon Avenue east of Koval Lane, police said. Two elderly adults were crossing the road in a crosswalk when a 2007 GMC Yukon, traveling west on Harmon Avenue, hit the rear ends of a 2007 Chrysler 300 and a 2009 Jeep Wrangler. The impact forced the Chrysler to strike both pedestrians.
