Two people were injured when two pickup trucks collided about 5:19 p.m. today on the Lima Avenue curve near the Findlay Airport, city police reported.
Taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance were Alana Kizer, 11, of Bluffton, a passenger in one of the trucks who suffered a broken leg, and Matthew Frische, 47, of Findlay, the driver of the other truck, police said.
Police said Michael Kizer Jr., 53, of Bluffton, was driving a 1997 Ford F-150 pickup west on Lima Avenue, at the curve near the Findlay Airport, when his truck slid on the wet road and traveled into the eastbound lanes, colliding with an eastbound 2013 Chevy Silverado driven by Matthew Frische.
Kizer was cited for failure to control, police said.
The Findlay Fire Department assisted at the accident scene.
