Hanover, PA : 4-year-old girl struck and killed by utility van in south-central Pennsylvania on Tuesday, November 22, 2016

Police are looking for the driver of a utility van that struck and killed a 4-year-old girl in south-central Pennsylvania.

Authorities in Hanover haven’t released the name of the girl who was killed shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say a white man with a beard was driving a white van that had some kind of writing or commercial lettering on its side, along with a ladder attached to a roof rack.

Police Chief Chad Martin says the girl had just arrived with an adult and was crossing the street to her home when she was hit.

Hanover is about 40 miles south of Harrisburg, not far from the Maryland border.
