Serious accident closes in west reading pennsylvania

A serious accident closed a stretch of Route 422 West the West Shore Bypass -- in West Reading during the height of the evening rush hour. The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of the Buttonwood Street Bridge. Initial reports from the scene were that three vehicles were involved in the accident and that a woman may have been ejected from one of the vehicles.
