Monett, MO : Woman injured in Wentworth wreck on Sunday, February 19, 2017

A Monett woman was injured sunday in a wreck at 5:40 p.m. on Highway J at the Wentworth city limits.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Tyler Potter, 18, of Wentworth, was driving a 1996 GMC 1500 westbound when his vehicle turned into the path of a 2014 Dodge Charger, being driven by Georgia Liebenberg, 24, of Monett.

Liebenberg suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Cox Monett Hospital. Potter suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin.

Potter was wearing a safety device, and Liebenberg was not. Both vehicles were totaled.
