Town of jefferson ,WI :82-year-old man killed all-terrain vehicle accident on Tuesday ,September 1st 2015

Authorities say an 82-year-old man has been found dead following a report of an all-terrain vehicle accident in Monroe County.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says authorities received a call around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday that a man was involved in an ATV accident on private land in the township of Jefferson. The sheriff's office says the man was found dead by emergency personnel.

The man's name was being withheld pending notification of his family.

The incident is being investigated by the sheriff's office and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
