A motorcyclist died Saturday after colliding with a Metro Rapid Ride bus on southbound SR 99 just north of the West Seattle Bridge.
Seattle Fire said the 61-year-old man suffered head trauma.
No other injuries were reported.
The entire viaduct was closed southbound while police investigated the crash.
Cars on the viaduct were being turned around.
The Mariners had a 6:10 game, but police warned people to avoid the area.
Metro southbound Routes 120 and RapidRide C line were rerouted, traveling Third Ave and missing a stop at Second/Columbia.
The road was reopened just before 7:30 p.m.
