Ozawkie, KS : Jonathan Henney, 17, and Andrew Dake, 17, injured when truck strikes a pole on 126th Road near Ozawkie on Sunday morning, Aug 9, 2015

Two teens were injured after their vehicle struck a pole early Sunday morning, according to Kansas Highway Patrol.

Jonathan Henney, 17, of Valley Falls, was driving eastbound about 12:47 a.m. Sunday on 126th Road about 7 miles northeast of Ozawkie when his 1988 Ford F-150 pickup left the road and struck a power pole, according to Kansas Highway Patrol.

Henney and passenger Andrew Dake, 17, of Oskaloosa, both were transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
