St. Paul, MN : Lakeville motorcyclist killed in Prior Lake collision with pickup truck on Thursday,12th April 2018

A Lakeville man was killed Thursday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in Prior Lake.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the collision happened at 4:45 p.m. at Minnesota 13 and 150th Street Southeast.

Andre Rory Caine, 36, was driving his Suzuki motorcycle southbound on Highway 13 at the time.

A Ford F-150 pickup was northbound on Highway 13 when the driver turned on a flashing yellow signal to head west on 150th Street.

The truck, driven by Benjamin Jacob Provost, 18, of Prior Lake, was struck broadside by the motorcycle.

Caine, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. Provost, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured.

According to the State Patrol, road conditions were dry at the time. Alcohol was not a factor in the incident.
