AUSTIN, TX : Austin PD officer injured after pursuit ends in crash on Friday, 7th June 2024

An Austin Police Department (APD) officer is injured after a chase led to a crash early Friday morning.

According to APD, a driver reportedly stole a vehicle near Airport Boulevard and East 12th Street in East Austin.

APD worked with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to follow the vehicle, which drove to Newfield Lane near MoPac in West Austin.
