A woman was killed in crash Wednesday morning on Bridge Street in Henniker. investigators said speed and the use of an electronic device may be to blame.

Police responded to the two car crash near Union Street just after 8 a.m.

Investigators said the woman's car crossed the center line and struck a truck head on.

The woman was ejected, according to Henniker police. She was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Speed and the use of an electronic device may have played a role in the crash.

The woman's identity is being withheld, pending notification of her family.

Bridge St. was closed for about three hours during the investigation.
