Milwaukee, WI : 46-year-old woman killed and six people injured in stolen SUV crash on Friday May 27, 2016.

A 46-year-old woman was killed and six people, including four children, were injured Friday in a hit-and-run crash on Milwaukee's west side caused by a driver in a stolen SUV who ran a stop sign, police said.
Two of the children, boys ages 7 and 8, were seriously injured in the crash, reported shortly after 3:30 p.m. at N. 39th and W. Hadley streets, according to a news release from the Milwaukee Police Department.
According to the release, the woman and the six people injured were in a 1999 Hyundai Elantra that was northbound on 39th St. when the driver of a stolen 2011 Audi Q7 that was westbound on Hadley at a high rate of speed disregarded a stop sign.
The Audi, which had been reported stolen in Racine County about a month ago, then struck the Elantra. The two male occupants of the Audi fled on foot.
The woman, a passenger in the Elantra, died at the scene of the crash.
A 3-year-old girl, a 5-year-old boy, a 26-year-old man driving the Elantra and a 28-year-old woman who was in the front seat suffered injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, the release said. Police were seeking suspects Friday night.
