Portland, OR : Sherwood woman dies in late night wreck on Monday, March 6th 2017

A 62-year-old Sherwood woman died late Monday after the car she was driving crossed into coming traffic on Southwest Roy Rogers Road, Washington County Sheriff's Office officials said.

The victim was identified as Marlene Macewan. She was driving south in her 1995 Porche 911 on a stretch of road north of Southwest Scholls Sherwood Road when she crashed into a 2013 Toyota Sienna minivan driven by Calvin Taylor, 51, of Tigard. His injuries were not life-threatening.

Police said Macewan was driving into a sweeping curve near the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge when she lost control of her Porche and drove into oncoming traffic.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, officials said.
