A Leominster man was killed early Friday when the motorcycle he was driving went off Central Street and struck the concrete base of a pole.
Marcus Bratkon, 41, of Leominster was pronounced dead at HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital soon after the 1 a.m. crash, Leominster police Sgt. John Fraher said.
Sgt. Fraher said police and firefighters were called to 222 Central St., near Lahti’s Jeep dealership, and found the victim on the ground, having been thrown from his motorcycle. He was treated and then taken to the hospital.
The accident remains under investigation by Leominster police and the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit.
