Norman, OK : Motorcyclist serious injuries after crash on Saturday night September 26 2015.

A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon with serious injuries after crashing into a trailer on 48th Avenue Southeast, officials said.About 3:25 p.m. Saturday, a van towing a large box trailer was trying to make a turn into a a private driveway when the motorcycle hit the trailer, according to a news release.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
The driver of the van was not injured. The names of the motorcyclist and driver have not been released.
Part of 48th Avenue southeast between Cedar Lane and Post Oak Road was closed for about five hours. The road has since been opened.Norman police are investigating the accident.
