Driver dies in bizarre accident near Montgomery Alabama

A Deatsville man, the victim of a bizarre accident that occurred last week as he drove his truck into the fringes of Prattville, was buried Monday.Authorities reported that 27-year-old Steve Williams died from a single gunshot when his hunting rifle discharged after he lost control of his vehicle while driving along U.S. Highway 82 last Wednesday.

Prattville Police Chief Mark Thompson reported that the fatal incident apparently began around noon, when the Williams vehicle, which was nearing the federal highway's intersection with Malone Court, veered off the roadway.
