Indianapolis, WI : One person critically injured in crash against tree on 85th St. between Indiana and Kenosha on Saturday evening, April 16, 2016

One man was in the hospital Saturday evening after crashing into a tree on 85th St. between Indiana and Kenosha. EMS reported the man was in critical condition, and a neighbor who ran to find the crash said it sounded like a plane crashing into the house next door.

"I checked the person in the vehicle for signs of life," the witness said, "and there were none. I understand he's in the hospital in serious condition, but at that time we didn't know."

LPD's accident investigators hadn't released a cause for the crash that night.
