Dallas, TX : Motorcyclist dies after crash with armored vehicle in Arlington on Sunday, January, 21st 2018

A motorcyclist died Sunday morning after a crash with an armored vehicle in Arlington, police said.

About 9:30 a.m., the motorcyclist tried to pass the armored vehicle on the left as it attempted to make a left turn in the 1300 block of North Collins Street, police said.

The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released, struck the vehicle on the driver's side.

The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital, where he died. The driver of the armored vehicle was also transported to a hospital and was treated for injuries.
