Indianapolis, IN : One dead, one injured in early morning crash on Chamberlain Street just north of Indiana 42 on Wednesday, 29th April, 2020

One person has died and another person was injured in a crash on Chamberlain Street just north of Indiana 42 at 5:42 a.m. today.

Sheriff John Plasse said the preliminary investigation showed a southbound SUV swerved to go around a garbage truck and crashed into a tree.

While the SUV driver and the driver of the garbage truck were standing at the scene assessing damages, another vehicle swerved around the garbage truck and struck both of the drivers on the road, Plasse said.
