Sparks ,NV : Passenger in serious condition after car crash on Galletti Way on Tuesday afternoon ,July 28th 2015

One person is in serious condition after a three-car collision closed a portion of a Sparks street Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

Sparks police said officers responded to the site of the collision at Galletti Way and Glendale Avenue at about 3:40 p.m.

The southbound portion of Galletti was closed for a little more than an hour as officers investigated and crews cleared the street, according to police.

Witnesses had reported a car driving south on Galletti as if the driver were lost, police said, creating traffic issues. A white GMC truck that was driving southbound struck a car from behind, driving it into a third car.

A passenger in the truck was taken to the intensive care unit of a local hospital and has been listed in serious condition.
