Deschutes County, OR : DUII motorcycle crash on Powell Butte Highway on Saturday, April 30, 2016

A Prineville man who crashed his motorcycle Saturday was cited for driving under the influence and reckless driving, according to a press release from the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office.

Aaron Smock, 41, crashed on Powell Butte Highway near milepost 14 after allegedly making an illegal pass. Smock left the highway and struck a sign post, coming to a stop about 30 yards from the road.

Smock was transported to St. Charles-Bend for treatment following the incident.
