TULSA, OK : A person is dead following a public bus crash in downtown Tulsa on Monday, 4th November 2024

One man is dead after being hit by a MetroLink bus in downtown Tulsa on Monday evening.

According to Tulsa Police, witnesses said someone was in the road at the intersection of Archer and Denver.

TPD said at this time their investigation indicates that the bus driver unknowingly hit the man who was laying in the street.

The driver left the scene not knowing that they hit someone. When officers found the bus driver, they cooperated fully with the investigation.

Police said no charges have been filed and this is still an ongoing investigation.

The victim's name has not been released at this time.
