Wharton, TX : EBHS student dies in auto accident in Matagorda County on Sunday, January 29, 2017

East Bernard ISD students, parents and faculty members are mourning the loss of a high school student and praying for another following a weekend accident in Matagorda County.

Nicholas Kain Sebring, 17, of East Bernard, died in the traffic accident, and his passenger, Victor James Tichacek, was transported by Life Flight helicopter ambulance the morning of the accident. He was listed in critical condition at Houston’s Memorial Hermann hospital as of Tuesday.
