Le Sueur County, MN : New Prague motorist killed in crash involving school bus near Montgomery on Tuesday, December 15, 2015

The Minnesota State Patrol says a 57-year-old New Prague woman is dead after a collision involving a school bus that was picking up students.

KTOE-AM said the crash was reported just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday near Montgomery. No students were hurt.

The State Patrol said the school bus was stopped on Minnesota 13 to pick up students and had its lights flashing. The victim was stopped facing the bus when a pickup truck rear-ended her car, pushing the car into the side of the bus and the ditch.

Emergency responders checked the students and said no one was hurt. The driver of the pickup and his 6-year-old passenger had minor injuries. The bus driver was not hurt.

The name of the victim was not immediately released.
