Putney, VT : Truck crash, fire closes Interstate 91 on May 20th 2014

A truck crash has closed a section of Interstate 91.

Police say a tractor-trailer carrying cars crashed in the southbound lanes between Exit 4 in Putney and Exit 5 in Westminster. The truck caught fire, and that reportedly sparked a brush fire, as well.

Police expected the northbound lanes to be closed through early afternoon. The southbound lanes were expected to reopen when the fire is out.
