Ellsworth, IA : Fiery crash reported along Interstate 35 near Ellsworth Friday afternoon on August 1, 2014

A fiery crash was reported on Interstate 35 near Ellsworth Friday afternoon.

The crash closed the right lane northbound between exit 128: County Road D65 and exit 133: Highway 175 near Ellsworth.

The Iowa DOT reported the lane closure at the crash scene about 4:49 p.m.

Photos from the scene sent to KCCI by Tyler Jewell show a vehicle fully engulfed in flames and smoke on the right shoulder of the interstate.

Troopers, two ambulances and a fire truck were at the scene about 4:40 p.m.

Traffic is backed up for miles south of the crash scene.
