West Boylston, Massachusetts
A woman struck and killed by a vehicle early as she walked on Interstate 190 has been identified by state police as Smarlyn P. Reyes, 19, of Leominster.
Ms. Reyes was struck in the right travel lane by a vehicle headed north on the highway.
Minutes earlier, she had lost control of her 2008 Infiniti and ran off the road, into the median. She got out of the overturned vehicle and walked onto the highway, where she was struck by two vehicles. The driver of the first vehicle is being sought by police. The driver of the second vehicle stopped.
Ms. Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene.
