1 dead in North Las Vegas crash road reopened in Reno Nevada

North Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal accident that shut down traffic on Lake Mead Boulevard.Investigators say a 26-year-old Las Vegas woman was killed early Monday when she lost control of a Nissan she was driving at a high rate of speed and struck a wall along westbound Lake Mead Boulevard near Simmons Street.She was ejected from the vehicle and was declared dead at the scene. Traffic was shut down in both directions of the boulevard for several hours.The name of the victim has not been released.Copyright 2013 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
