Paducah, KY : A Paducah man was injured on Thursday, July 20, 2017

A Paducah man was injured Thursday when his vehicle left the road and struck several trees.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, Nicholas R. Thompson, 27, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala east on Clarkline Road West when, for an unknown reason, he crossed into the westbound lane and drove off the road.

Thompson was taken to Lourdes hospital with incapacitating injuries.

Deputies said criminal charges are pending.
