WICHITA, KS : 3 dead, 3 hurt after fiery crash near K-96 and 13th on Friday, 13th September 2024

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol crash log, Amanda Fleming was driving the wrong way on K-96. Her Dodge Durango collided head-on with the truck driven by Randall Henrickson of Rose Hill, who was driving west in the westbound lanes.

KHP said it caused the truck to spin, hit another car and become engulfed in flames.

Fleming, Randall Henrickson and 11-year-old Eli Henrickson all died.

Three people in the third vehicle involved had minor injuries.
