Farmington, CT : Motorcyclist dies in motorcycle crash near Commerce Township on Thursday May 12th, 2016

Police are investigating after a motorcycle crash claimed the life of a Commerce Township man last week in Farmington Hills, authorities say.
Police and fire personnel were called at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12, to Crestview Court, just north of Grand River Avenue, to investigate a crash between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.
Authorities report that preliminary investigations indicate the motorcycle and opposing vehicle crashed head on.
The driver of the motorcycle, 60-year-old David Allen Johnson, of Commerce Township, suffered critical injuries.
