Kennewick, WA : Kennewick driver, 88, hurt in wreck at 10th, Highway 395 on Tuesday afternoon, March 7, 2017

An 88-year-old Kennewick man was hurt when another driver turned in front of him at 10th Avenue and Highway 395 on Tuesday afternoon.

Jason T. Fischer, 50, of Kennewick, was driving a 2013 Volkswagen Passat west on 10th Avenue when he turned to head north on the highway and collided just before 3 p.m. with Charles M. Gillis, said the Washington State Patrol.

Gillis was driving east on 10th in a 2008 Subaru Forester.

Gillis was hurt and taken to Trios Southridge Hospital. His condition was not immediately available.

The WSP ticketed Fisher for failing to yield.
