GODFREY, IL : Jerseyville woman dies in crash near U.S. 67 and Davis Lane on Monday, 19th August 2019

A Jerseyville woman died in a crash Saturday near U.S. 67 and Davis Lane.
Baylee Rose Pruitt, 20, of Jerseyville was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle accident, according to Capt. William Dimitroff of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident was reported at 6:16 a.m. Saturday. Dimitroff said the vehicle was northbound on U.S. 67 when it left the road for an unknown reason.
The driver apparently over-corrected and the vehicle rolled multiple times.
