COLUMBIA, SC : Columbia-Richland fire truck crashes on Wilson Boulevard on Wednesday, 6th March 2024

A Columbia-Richland Fire Department truck was involved in a crash on Wilson Boulevard and Summerhill Drive on Wednesday morning.

The fire truck crashed into a brick structure at the entrance of the Summer Hill neighborhood in Richland County while responding to a call.

Two firefighters were on the truck at the time of the crash and one firefighter was treated for a minor injury. The other firefighter was not injured, according to the Columbia-Richland Fire Department.

The fire department said no civilians were hurt during the crash.
