Riverside, OH : Road back open after driver crashes into pole on Saturday, September 17, 2016
Police were called to the scene of an accident after a driver hit a pole.
The crash happened in the 3900 block of Linden Avenue after 1 p.m. Saturday.
Officials said a car crashed and knocked over a DP&L pole, and the driver ran from the scene. The car just missed the Dayton Dream Auto Sales building.
Riverside Police say moments later they caught the driver, Krystal Cabrera and a man on foot. Officials arrested 28-year-old Cabrera for driving impaired.
The car snapped the pole in half and knocked down wires. Traffic is still shut down for a two-block stretch while Dayton Power and Light works to fix the pole.
