TORRINGTON, CT : Man suffered life-threatening injuries in three-car crash on Wednesday, 10th July 2019

A Waterbury man suffered life-threatening injuries in a three-car crash that closed a city street Wednesday night.
Horace Gill, 56, was rushed to Hartford Hospital by LifeStar in the wake of an accident that occurred around 9 p.m. on East Main Street.

Police said preliminary investigations determined that Gill was traveling west on the street when he rear-ended a Mercedes that was stopped to turn left into a gas station. The impact from the collision sent the Mercedes into eastbound traffic, police said, where it then struck a third vehicle, a Jeep.
