Fairfield, CA : Fairfield motorcyclist dies in weekend collision on April, sunday 23th 2017

A 31-year-old Fairfield man was killed Sunday afternoon from injuries he sustained when his motorcycle collided with a car near Lake Berryessa, according to the California Highway Patrol’s Napa office.

Kristoffer K. Gelsthorpe was riding his motorcycle west on Highway 128, east of Berryessa Knoxville Road near Turtle Rock, around 12:20 p.m. when he crossed the double yellow lines into the eastbound lane, according to the CHP.

Gelsthorpe collided with a 2008 Honda Ridgeline driven by a Napa resident. Gelsthorpe was taken to the Queen of the Valley Medical Center where he died, according to the CHP.
