Wamego,KS : Wamego teen treated, released from hospital after rollover crash on may, Sunday 28th 2017

A 19-year-old woman was hospitalized following a one-vehicle, rollover crash Sunday afternoon in Wabaunsee County, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 2:56 p.m. Sunday on K-18 highway, about 1 mile east of the town of Wabaunsee.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling west on K-18 when it left the right side of the roadway and entered a ditch, where it overturned.

The driver, Kelsey Yunos, 19, of Wamego, was reported as having possibly suffered an injury. The patrol said Yunos, who was alone in her car, was taken to Wamego Health Center for treatment.

A Facebook post by Yunos on Monday indicated she sustained minor cuts, bruising and bumps, but was otherwise OK.

The patrol said Yunos was wearing a seat belt.
