Smithville, TN : Driver uninjured in semi wreck on Friday September 2 2016

A truck driver escaped injury when he left the roadway on Highway 83 North (Allen Ferry Road) Friday afternoon. According to Trooper Chris Delong of the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 63-year-old Joseph Colorusso of Knoxville, driving for Dedicated Transport, dropped his 2015 Freightliner off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and crossed the highway, left the road on the left side, and jackknifed, blocking the highway. Colorusso’s truck was mostly empty, hauling a few pallets of cardboard to Lebanon.
