BYESVILLE, OH : A one-vehicle accident on May, Tuesday 2nd 2017

The Ohio State Highway Patrol continued to investigate a one-vehicle accident late Tuesday morning on Ideal Road that reportedly pinned an individual inside a heavily-damaged vehicle.

A sergeant with the patrol's Cambridge post said details regarding the accident were not available as of press time today as the crash remained under investigation.

A dispatch log at the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office stated the accident was reported at 11:24 a.m. via a 911 call to the agency. Emergency responders from United Ambulance, the Byesville and Senecaville volunteer fire departments and the highway patrol were dispatched to the scene in Jackson Township.

The 911 caller reported the vehicle was in the middle of the roadway on Ideal Road near the intersection with Deerfield Road. The caller advised the occupant of the vehicle was injured, but the extent of the injuries was not available.

A United Ambulance crew reported a short time later the occupant was pinned inside the vehicle and requested firefighters to free the injured motorist.
