MINNEAPOLIS, MT : A 75-year-old woman died in a crash involving a semi-truck in Highway 212 west of Jonathan Carver Parkway on Wednesday, 16th January 2019

A 75-year-old woman died in a crash involving a semi-truck in Carver County Wednesday morning.

The crash happened just after 10 a.m. on Highway 212 west of Jonathan Carver Parkway. Unaware of approaching traffic, police say the woman attempted to make a U-turn and was subsequently struck by a semi going eastbound.

The driver of the semi, 43-year-old Trevor Hogan, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The woman’s identity has not yet been released.
