Berlin, N.H : Weare man injured in ATV crash in Jericho Mountain State Park in Berlin Saturday on July 5, 2014

A man from Weare was injured after he crashed his all-terrain vehicle in Jericho Mountain State Park in Berlin Saturday.

New Hampshire Fish and Game conservation officers found Mark Blais, 40, at approximately 2 p.m. on the Moose Road Trail near the junction of Magella’s Run Trail.

Officials said Blais was trying to do a slow speed turn on an embankment and lost control of the ATV and it rolled over onto him.

Fish and Game reported he was able to operate the ATV to a main junction where the conservation officers found him.

Blais was taken to Androscoggin Valley Hospital for treatment.

Fish and Game are investigating the crash and want to remind ATV riders to use caution operating on uneven terrain.
