ANCHORAGE, AK : People Mover Bus hit in Fairview crash on Saturday, January, 20th 2018

Anchorage Police investigated a crash with injuries on Gambell street near E. 13th Ave. Saturday afternoon. According to a Channel 2 News Photojournalist on scene, a People Mover Bus was involved in the collision.

Passenger, Helena Grygo told KTUU the bus was full at the time of the crash. She said it appeared another vehicle attempted to run a stop light before hitting the bus. Grygo said several passengers were taken to the hospital.

APD issued a public notification Saturday afternoon warning the crash involved multiple vehicles. It's unclear how many people may have been injured or if any citations have been issued at this time.

Anchorage Police have not said what factors may have lead to the collision. The street reopened around 3 p.m.
